تنخنخ tanaḵẖnuḵẖ A (inf. ii. of نخنخ) s. m. Clearing the throat, hemming, hawking.

خندق ḵẖandaḳ A (from Pers. کنده kanda: Kā- mūs) s. m. f. A ditch, fosse, moat.

خنده ḵẖanda P s. m. 1. Laughter, a laugh. 2. A laughing-stock. خنده رو ḵẖanda-rū, adj. Of a smiling countenance, cheerful. خنده روي ḵẖanda-rū-ī, s. f. Cheerfulness. خنده زنان ḵẖanda-zanāṅ, Setting up a laugh, laughing.

فرخنده farḵẖunda P adj. Happy, fortunate. فرخنده طالع farḵẖunda-t̤āliﻌ, or فرخنده فال far- ḵẖunda-fāl, adj. Fortunate, lucky.

لبڙخندا labaṛ-ḵẖandā H m. A mischievous child.
