خدمت ḵẖidmat A s. f. Service, attendance, em- ployment, ministry, office, appointment, duty, use. (Arab. plur. خدمات ḵẖidmāt). خدمت کرنا ḵẖidmat karnā, 1. To serve, to attend, to wait on. 2. (met.) To satirize, to beat. خدمتگار ḵẖidmat-gār, s. m. A butler, a servant, attend- ant. خدمتگاري ḵẖidmat-gār-ī, s. f. Attendance, service, ministry. A. P. خدمتگذاري ḵẖidmat-guẕār-ī, s. f. Service, readiness to serve.
