قحبه ḳaḥba A (from قحب To cough) 1. s. m. A cough. 2. An old woman (subject to coughing). 3. (the usual acceptation in Hindī) s. f. A whore, a prostitute (accustomed to notify her profession by coughing: Gol.). 4. adj. f. Unchaste.

محبوب maḥbūb A m. (part. pass. of حبّ) adj. Beloved, lovely; (subst.) A sweetheart. محبوب القلوب maḥbūbu-l-ḳulūb, Cordially beloved, amiable.
