بحثابحثي baḥs̤-ā-baḥs̤-ī A. s. f. Controversy, dis- cussion, argumentation. A.H. بحثنا baḥas̤nā (from بحث) v. a. To argue, dispute, debate, talk. P.A. بحدي ba-hadd-e, To such an extreme; to such a degree.

ثابت s̤ābit A (from ثبوت) adj. Firm, constant, durable, stable, proved, ascertained, sure, valid, confirmed, established, fixed; a fixed star. ثابت رهنا s̤ābit rahnā, To adhere to a person. ثابت قدم s̤ābit-ḳadam, adj. Immovable, stable, resolute, permanent, constant. ثابت کرنا s̤ābit karnā, To confirm, establish, render durable, verify, prove (by witness). ثابت هونا s̤ābit honā, To be proved or confirmed. A.P. ثابت خاني s̤ābit-ḵẖān-ī, A kind of soldier or servant, armed or dressed, probably, agreeable to the device of a ثابت خان.

دثار dis̤ār A s. An upper garment. (The word is used in opposition to شعار, and like the latter sometimes in compos. to denote habit, custom, &c.).

مثابه mas̤āba A (n. of place of ثوب) s. The place to which a person returns again and again, place of assembling, station.

نثار nis̤ār A (from نثر) s. m. f. 1. Scattering, throwing, strewing. 2. Money which is thrown among the people upon festive occasions, do- native, sacrifice. نثار کرنا nis̤ār karnā, To scat- ter, strew, or throw (as a publick donative, &c.), to sacrifice. نثارهونا nis̤ār honā, To be sacrificed.
