اڙتلا aṛtalā H s. m. Defence, protection.

بتلانا batlānā H v. a. To show, explain, point out, denote, teach, inform, express, signify, ad- duce, account for. See بتانا batānā.

تتلانا tutlānā H v. n. To lisp, to speak imperfectly as a child.

تلا talā तल S̱. s. m. 1. Essential nature, bottom. 2. The sole of a shoe. 3. Protection.

تلا tillā P. (from طلا) s. m. The golden border of a turband.

تلا तुला tulā S s. f. 1. A balance or scale. 2. The sign Libra of the zodiack. 3. The practice of being weighed against gold or any kind of valuable substance, which is afterwards given to priests.
