ابهوت अभूत अ and r. भू Exist, be a-bhūt S. adj. Non-existent, not existing, not past.

ابهوج a-bhoj, अभोज्य S̱. adj. Unfit to be eaten, not eatable.

بهبهوت bhabhūt S̱. or bhabhūti (विभूति) s. f. Ashes of cow-dung which faḳīrs rub over their bodies.

بهنبهوا bhambhūʼā H s. m. A faḳīr who is pressed by hunger to rob.

بهوئين bhūʼīṅ भूमि S̱. s. f. 1. The earth, ground. 2. A kind of caterpillar covered with hair and destructive to ber trees.

بهوئين چنپا bhūʼīṅ champā भूमिचंपक S̱. s. m. A kind of fire-works like a flower pot (resem- bling those commonly called انار anār).

بهوئين ڐول bhūʼīṅ ḍol भूमिदोल S̱. s. m. An earthquake.

بهوا bhūʼā H s. f. 1. Fatherʼs sister. 2. A worm, a caterpillar.

بهوان bhauʼāṅ S̱. s. f. Eyebrow or eyebrows. See بهون bhauṅ.

بهواني भवानी bhawānī S s. f. Name of a Hindū goddess, wife of Siva or Mahādeva.

بهوبهل bhūbhal H s. m. Hot ashes, embers.

بهوت भूत bhūt S s. m. 1. A demon, goblin, fiend, ghost, apparition. 2. The past, preterite tense. 3. An element. (The Hindūs reckon five elements: see پنچتتو pancha-tatwa). بهوت هونا bhūt honā, v. n. To be distracted with rage.

بهوتا bhotā H adj. Blunt, dull.

بهوتني bhūtnī S̱. (from بهوت) s. f. A female demon or goblin.

بهوج bhoj S s. m. 1. (for भोज्य) Eating, feast. 2. (for भोज) n. prop. Name of a celebrated rājā.
