بندهـ बंध bandh S s. m. f. Binding, bandage, bondage, imprisonment. بندهـ مين پڙناياآنا bandh meṅ paṛnā yā ānā, To become a captive.

بندهن बंधन bandhan S s. m. Fastening, band- age, bondage, bond, imprisonment; obstacle, hinderance.

نربندهو निर्बंधु nir-bandhu S adj. Friendless, without relations.

کٿ بندهن kaṭ-bandhan S̱. (काष्ठ Wood, and बन्धन Binding) s. m. A clog or ring of wood with which the feet of elephants are fastened.

گٿهہ بندهن gaṭh-bandhan S̱. (Sans. ग्रंथिबंधन) s. m. Tying the knot; a Hindū ceremony at- tending marriage, in which the mantles of the bride and bridegroom are fastened together.
