انراگنا anurāgnā S̱. (from अनुराग) v. n. To be in love with.

اگن agin H s. m. Name of a bird, a sort of lark: see اگیا agiyā.

اگن باو agin-bāo अग्निवात S̱. s. f. The farcy in horses, an eruptive disease in men.

اگن अगुण a-guṇ S adj. Unskilful, without merit, ineffectual.

اگن अग्नि agni S (vulgarly agin or agan) 1. s. f. Fire. 2. s. m. The god of fire and the re- gent of the southeast quarter; the southeast; the name of one of the Purāṇas. अग्निसंस्कार agni-sanskār, s. m. Funeral ceremonies, as burning a dead body.

اگنا ugnā S̱. (उत् and r. गम Go) v. n. To grow, to be produced, to spring (as plants), to rise (as the moon). اگتي هي جل جانا ugte hī jal jānā, To be withered immediately on springing up (is applied to a hope or expecta- tion which is blasted in the bud).

اگنبان agni-bān अग्निवाण S̱. s. m. Arrow of fire.

بهاگنا bhāgnā H v. n. To flee, to run away.

بيراگن bairāgan वैरागिणी S̱. s. f. 1. A fe- male bairāgī. 2. Same as بيراگا q. v.

تاگنا tāgnā H v. a. To thread.

تياگنا tyāg-nā S̱. (त्याग r. त्यज Leave) v. a. To leave, to abandon, to desert, to forsake, to quit, to abdicate, resign.

جاگنا jāgnā S̱. (जागरण r. जागृ Wake) v. n. To awake, to wake, be awake. جاگ پڙنا jāg paṛnā, v. n. To awake.

داواگن दावाग्नि dāvāgni S s. f. The conflagra- tion of a forest, kindled by a tempest or some other cause.
