آنا ānā S̱. 1. (आ and अयन A going) v. n. To come, to be, to become; to be practicable or possible: coming. آن پڙنا ān paṛnā, To hap- pen. 2. s. m. The sixteenth part of a rupee.

آنافانا ānaṉ-fa-ānaṉ A adj. Every minute, constantly, incessantly.

آناکاتي ānākānī S̱. (अनाकर्णन from अन् and r. आकर्ण Listen to) s. f. Turning a deaf ear, overlooking, winking at, purposely neglecting.

آنت ānt S̱. (अंत्र antra) s. f. Entrails, gut, intestine, tripe. آنت آونا ānt-āʼonā, v. n. To be afflicted with the coming down of the rectum. آنت گرنا ānt-girnā, v. n. To void white glu- tinous stools.

آنجمن ānjan S̱. (अंजन) s. m. A collyrium or application to the eye-lashes to darken and improve them; antimony.

آنجنا ānjnā S̱. (trans. of انجنا anjnā) v. a. To tinge the eyes with انجن anjan.

آنجهو ānjhū S̱. (see آنسو ānsū) s. m. A tear. S. P. انجیر अंजीर anjīr, s. m. A fig.

آندهي āndhī H s. f. Storm, tempest, gale. آندهي هونا āndhī honā, To engage keenly in a bad action.

آندو āndū अन्दू S̱. s. m. The chain or rope with which the feet of elephants are tied up.

آنس āns H s. f. The fibrous part of any thing. S. انس अंस or अंश ans, s. m. 1. Part, divi- sion, portion, share; right, possession, essence. 2. A degree of a circle, &c.

آنسو āṅsū अश्रु S̱. s. m. A tear.
