تعظم taʼaﻌz̤z̤um A (inf. v. of عظم) s. m. Magni- ficence, grandeur, pride, arrogance.

ظلم z̤ulm A s. m. Oppression, injustice, tyranny, injury. ظلم رسيده z̤ulm-rasīda, adj. Oppressed. ظلم پيشه z̤ulm-pesha, or ظلم شعار z̤ulm-shiʼāﻌr, or ظلم کيش z̤ulm-kesh, adj. Tyrannical; tyrant, oppressor. ظلم کرنا z̤ulm karnā, To oppress, tyrannise. ظلم گدازي z̤ulm-gudāz-ī, s. f. Dis- solving of oppresion, the putting an end to in- justice.

ظلمات z̤ulmāt A s. f. 1. (Plur. of ظلمت) Darkness. 2. A dark place where the water of im- mortality is said to be.

ظلمي z̤ulm-ī A. adj. Oppressive, tyrannical, un- just.

ظلميت z̤ulmī-yat A s. f. Oppression.

ظله z̤ulla A s. m. A covering, any thing shady, a cloud.

ظنون z̤unūn A s. m. 1. Suspecting. 2. (plur. of ظنّ) Thoughts, suspicions.

ظﮩر z̤uhr A s. m. Midday, or a little time after the sun has passed the meridian when it is most sul- try. ¶ z̤ahr, s. f. The back.

ظﮩور z̤uhūr A s. m. Appearing, arising, manifes- tation, visibility, coming to pass. A.H. ظﮩورنا z̤uhūr-nā, v. n. (dakh.) To become ma- nifest, to appear.
