آتر आतुर आ and r. तुर Hasten ātur S. adj. Agitated, restless, distressed, afflicted.

آزرده āzurda P adj. Afflicted, sad, dispirited, sorrowful, vexed, displeased, weary. آزرده خاطر āzurda-ḵẖāt̤ir or آزرده دل āzurda-dil, Vexed, troubled in mind, offended, disgusted, dejected, sad. آزرده خاطري āzurda-ḵẖāt̤ir-ī, s. f. Sadness, &c. آزرده کرنا āzurda karnā, To afflict, vex, displease, offend.

آزردگي āzurda-gī P s. f. Displeasure, vexation, affliction, sorrow.

آسري आसुरी āsur-ī S adj. Of or belonging to the asurs, devilish, demoniacal.

آسریمایا आसुरीमाया āsurī-māyā S s. f. De- ception of demons.

آمرزش āmurzish P s. f. Pardon, grace, forgiveness of sins (by the Deity).

آمرزگار āmurz-gār P s. m. He who pardons; pardoner (an epithet of God).

آيربل आयुर्बल आयुस् Age, and बल Strength āyur-bal S. s. f. Age. S. ايرکها ईर्षा or ईर्ष्या īrkh̤ā or īrsh̤yā, s. f. Envy, emulation.

ابوتراب abū turāb A n. prop. Ali, the son-in-law of Muhammad.

ابوهریره abū huraira A (father of the cat, because he was in the habit of carrying a cat with him) n. prop. One of the companions of Muhammad.
