ادهومکهہ अधोमुख अधस् Down, and मुख Face adho-mukh S. adj. With the head down- wards (as the Hindūs practise in the tapasyā), looking downwards, drooping the head (from grief or shame), headlong.

اسکهہ असुख अ and सुख Ease a-sukh S. s. m. Uneasiness, restlessness, affliction.

اسکي असुखी a-sukhī S adj. Uneasy, unhap- py, restless, afflicted.

اکهاڙ ukhāṛ S̱. (see اکهاڙنا) s. f. Rooting up, extir- pation.

اکهاڙنا ukhāṛnā S̱. (trans. of اکهڙنا q. v.) v. a. To root up, eradicate, extirpate, to break or pluck up, to dislocate.

اکهلج उष्मज उष्म The hot season, and ज Born ukh̤maj S. or ush̤maj, s. Insects pro- duced by heat; moschettos, gnats, flies, &c.

اکهلي ukhlī S̱. (उदुखल or उलूखल) s. f. A wooden mortar.

اکهٿنا ukhaṭnā H v. n. To trip.

اکهڙانا ukhṛānā S̱. (caus. of اکهڙنا q. v.) v. a. To break or pluck up, to eradicate.

اکهڙنا ukhaṛnā S̱. (उत् and r. खड Divide, tear) v. n. To be rooted up, plucked up or raised up, to slip out (as a bone, &c.). اکهڙنا پکهڙنا ukhaṛna pukhaṛnā, To be plucked or rooted up.

اکهیڙنا ukheṛnā S̱. v. a. See اکهاڙنا ukhāṛnā.

اکهیڙوانا ukheṛwānā S̱. (caus. of اکهیڙنا) v. a. To cause to pluck up.

بمکهـ विमुख bimukh S or vi-mukh, adj. Having the face averted, turned from, averse.

بهرمکهـ bahir-mukh S̱. (from वहिर् Out, and मुख Face) s. m. The neglect or violation of any moral or religious duty; impious.
