آرتهيا arthīyā S̱. (r. अर्थ Seek, beg) s. m. A fol- lower, a client, a protegee, a person recom- mended.

اتتها a-tathā H adj. Powerless, without authority.

اتها athā S̱. (अ and स्थान Place) adj. Deep, unfordable, unfathomable, out of manʼs depth.

اتهائن athāʼīṅ S̱. (अ and r. ष्ठा Remain; q. d. not to remain or reside in) s. f. A place where people meet to converse and amuse themselves.

اتهان उत्थान ut-thān S s. Effort, rising up, manly exertion, battle, joy. उत्थान एकादशी utthān ekādasī, or देवठान devaṭhān, The eleventh of the sukl paksh̤ of Kārtik, when Vishnu awakes from sleep. (During the four months that he sleeps it is unlawful to marry).

اتهاه a-thāh S̱. adj. Unfathomable, bottomless, very deep. s. An abyss. See اتها athā.

ارتهات अर्थात् arthāt S s. m. 5th case sing. That is to say, viz.

ارتهي arthī H s. f. A bier.

التها ulthā H s. m. Translation (of a writing).

انيتها अन्यथा anyathā S adv. 1. Otherwise, in a different manner. 2. Inaccurately, untruly.

اوستها अवस्था ava-sthā S s. f. State, condition

ايکتها ek-thā S̱. adj. See ايکٿها ek-ṭhā.

اپرتها अप्रथा a-prathā S s. f. Deviation from custom: secrecy.

بتها bithā व्यथा S̱. s. f. Pain, affliction, distress.

بتهارنا bithārnā S̱. (caus. of بتهرنا) v. a. To cause to scatter, to cause to sprinkle.
