اصالتا aṣālataṉ A adv. Originally, radically, firmly, entirely, absolutely.

تصاعد taṣāʼuﻌd A (inf. vi. of صعد) s. m. Ascending, becoming difficult.

تصحيح taṣʼḥīḥ A (inf. ii. of صحّت) s. f. Rectifica- tion, correction, emendation, verifying, illustrating, attestation.

تصحيحه taṣʼḥīḥ-a A s. m. Muster. داغ تصحيحه dāg̠ẖ-i-taṣʼḥīḥa, The office in which the horses taken up for service are marked.

تصحيف taṣʼḥīf A (inf. ii. of صحف) s. f. 1. Making an errour in writing. 2. Writing. 3. Changing the diacritical points so as to alter the pronunciation and meaning of a word.

تصدق taṣadduḳ A (inf. v. of صدق) s. m. 1. Giving alms (particularly, with a religious view). 2. Alms. 3. Sacrificing, sacrifice, devoting. (Plur. تصدقات). تصدق کرنا taṣadduḳ karnā, To de- vote, to sacrifice.

تصديع taṣdīﻌ A (inf. ii. of صدع) s. f. 1. The headach. 2. Affliction, trouble, annoyance, vexation, toil, perplexity. (Plur. تصديعات). تصديع دينا taṣdīﻌ denā, To incommode, trouble, vex, tease, harass, distress, pester, plague, annoy. تصديع کرنا taṣdīﻌ karnā, To take the trouble.

تصديق taṣdīk A (inf. ii. of صدق) s. f. Verifying, attesting, verification, acknowledging as true, attestation, appeal. تصديق بلاتصور taṣdīḳ-i-bilā taṣauwur, Presupposition.

تصرف taṣarruf A (inf. v. of صرف) s. m. 1. Posses- sion, use, sway. 2. Expenditure, disposal, em- bezzlement, extravagance. تصرف کرنا or تصرف مين لانا taṣarruf karnā, or taṣarruf meṅ lānā, To take or get possession of, to apply to oneʼs own purpose, embezzle, occupy. Plur. تصرفات taṣarrufāt (in general acceptation for) The sum total of expenses.

تصرفي taṣarruf-ī A. s. f. Common provisions given to dependants, &c. (خاصه ḵẖāṣṣa, being what the master and his company eat).

تصريح taṣrīh A (inf. ii. of صرح) s. f. Evidence, manifestation, explanation, narration.

تصريف taṣrīf A (inf. ii. of صرف) s. f. 1. Conju- gation, declension, inflection (in grammar). 2. Changing, turning, converting. تصريف کرنا taṣrīf karnā, To conjugate, decline, inflect (in grammar).

تصغير taṣg̠ẖīr A (inf. ii. of صغر Heb. Was small) s. f. Diminution, a diminutive noun.

تصفيه taṣfiya A (inf. ii. of صفا) s. m. 1. Purifying (particularly, the mind from ill will), purifica- tion, purgation, purity. 2. Reconciling, reconciliation.

تصليب taṣlīb A (inf. ii. of صلب) s. f. Cruci- fixion.
