اسکهہ असुख अ and सुख Ease a-sukh S. s. m. Uneasiness, restlessness, affliction.

اسکي असुखी a-sukhī S adj. Uneasy, unhap- py, restless, afflicted.

باسکي bāsukī S (वासुकि) s. m. The chief of serpents, which is fabled to support the universe, and which was used as a string to whirl the mountain Mandar in churning the ocean for the amr̤it, &c.

سکر sukr A (from سکر Heb. To be drunk, to drink to intoxication) s. m. 1. An intoxicating drink; wine. 2. Intoxication. ¶ sukkar, s. m. Sugar.

سکل sukal S̱. (or sukl शुक्ल) adj. 1. White. سکل پچهہ sukal pachchh̤ (शुक्लपक्ष) s. m. The light half of a month, the fifteen days from new to full moon. 2. A title of Brāhmaṇs. ¶ sak- kal, s. f. (dakh.) A chain: see سانکر sānkar.

سکلائي suklāʼī शुक्लता S̱. s. f. Whiteness, fairness.
