بناپهر bannāphir H s. m. Name of a tribe of Rājpūts.

پهراؤ phirāʼo H (from پهرنا) s. m. Return, restitu- tion, rotation, turning.

پهرانا phirānā H (caus. of پهرنا) v. a. To cause to turn, to whirl, wheel, make to go about, to re- turn, to change, to roll, shift, wander.

پهرت phirat H (from پهرنا) s. m. 1. Rejected things. 2. Money paid by a lewd woman to her paramour.

پهرتارهنا phirtā rahnā H v. n. To wander, to pe- rambulate, to walk about.

پهرتي phirtī H (from پهرنا) part. f. or s. f. Returning, return, homeward-bound. پهرتي کابهاڙا phir- tī kā bhāṛā, The hire of a return boat, car- riage, &c.

پهروانا phirwānā H (caus. of پهرنا) v. a. To cause to turn.

پهرپڙنا phir paṛnā S̱. v. n. (i. q. ناخوش هونا) To be displeased, indisposed, unpleasant, &c.

پهرکي phirkī S̱. (see پهرنا) s. f. A whirligig, any thing turning as on an axis.
