اوٿ oṭ S̱. (perhaps, from r. वट Surround) s. f. m. Protection, shade, shelter, screen, covering, concealment, partition. اوٿ کرنا oṭ karnā, To conceal, screen, &c. اوٿ هونا oṭ honā, To be concealed, &c.

اوٿا oṭā S̱. (see اوٿ) s. m. A partition-wall or screen.

اوٿنا oṭnā S̱. (see اوٿ) v. a. 1. To defend, to screen, to shelter. 2. To thrum, to separate the seed from cotton. 3. To catch (a ball, &c.).

اوڙا oṛā H s. m. A basket, a pannier.

اوڙن oṛan H s. m. Shield, target.

اوڙهنا oṛhnā S̱. (r. ऊर्णु Cover) 1. v. a. To put on (dress). 2. s. m. A sheet, cloak, or mantle.

اوڙهني oṛhnī S̱. (from اوڙهنا) s. f. A smaller sheet, a veil or womanʼs cloak.
