بڙيون مين ملنا baṛyauṅ meṅ milnā S̱. To be grown up.

سميٿ sameṭ H (from سميٿنا sameṭnā) s. f. 1. An astringent, a medicine used by women (ad constringendam vulvam). 2. Contraction.

سميٿنا sameṭnā H (caus. of سمٿنا simaṭnā, q. v.) v. a. 1. To collect together, amass. 2. To constringe, contract, compress, brace, to cause to shrivel or shrink.

ملميٿ malmeṭ H adj. 1. Ruined. 2. Decided (a dispute). ملميٿ هونا malmeṭ honā, To be ruined, to perish. ملميٿ کرنا malmeṭ karnā, To destroy, raze.

ميخ meḵẖ P s. f. A nail, a wedge, a tent-pin, peg, a hook, a tenter. ميخ ٿهونکنا meḵẖ ṭhonknā, To nail. ميخ چو meḵẖ-chū, s. f. A mallet, a mall, a hammer. ميخ مارنا meḵẖ mārnā, To overcome.

ميخي روپيه meḵẖ-ī rūpaiya P. A rupee which has been hollowed and then filled with lead, copper, &c. adulterated.

مين meṅ S̱. (Sans. मध्ये) postpos. In, among, between, at. مين سي meṅ se, From within, out of. ¶ maiṅ (and, rarely, meṅ. Sans. अहं, मे &c.) pron. I. مين پنا main-panā, s. m. (dakh.) Egotism, arrogance. مين خوش ميرا خدا خوش maiṅ ḵẖụsh merā ḵẖudā ḵẖụsh, is used to express high satisfaction with any cir- cumstance or proposition. گر ناخوشي سي ميري هوتاهي جي تراخوش جس مين تري خوشي هو مين خوش مرا خدا خوش Gar nā-ḵẖụshī se merī hotā hai jī tirā ḵẖụsh; jis meṅ tirī ḵẖụshī ho maiṅ ḵẖu̇sh mirā ḵẖudā ḵẖụsh. If you are pleased with that which gives me pain; I am delighted and my God is pleased with whatever affords gratification to you.

مينـﮩ meṅh S̱. P. (Pers. ميغ Sans. मेघ) s. m. Rain. مينـﮩ برسنا meṅh barasnā, To rain. مينـٿـﮩ چهوٿنا meṅh chhūṭnā, To rain hard.

مينـﮩدي meṅhdī S̱. (Sans. मेन्धी) s. f. The name of a plant from the leaves of which a red die is prepared, with which the natives stain their hands and feet. (Lawsonia inermis).

ميٿنا meṭnā S̱. (causal of مٿنا miṭnā, q. v.) v. a. 1. To efface, erase, blot out, wipe out, annihilate, annul, cancel, expiate, atone for. 2. To thwart.

ميڐک meḍuk S̱. s. m. A frog. See مينڐک menḍak.

ميڙها meṛhā मेढ़ S̱. s. m. A ram.

همين hameṅ S̱. (Sans. अहम् I) pron. plur. in the objective case, Us, to us: (or in dakh. nom.) we. ¶ ham-īṅ, We ourselves.

کميڐيا kumeḍyā H s. m. A small elephant.
