تماشا tamāshā A. (for تماشي inf. vi. of مشي) s. m. 1. An entertainment, show, a spectacle. 2. Sight, amusement fun, pleasure. تماشا بيني tamāshā-bīn-ī, s. f. To jeer, to jest. تماشا کنان ta- māshā-kunān, Beholding, looking at for amuse- ment. تماش بين tamāsh-bīn, A spectator; a rake, an epicure, a whoremaster. تماش بيني tamāsh-bīn-ī, s. f. قماش ḳumāsh A (vulg. ḳimāsh) s. m. 1. Breeding, manners. 2. Trifles. 3. Goods, furniture of every kind. 4. Close or thick texture (in cloth, paper, &c.), texture, any thing heaped or collected together. ¶ ḳimāsh, Name of a suit at cards: see under تاج tāj.

ماش माष māsh̤ S s. m. A kind of vetch. (Pha- seolus max. or radiatus).

ماشه माष māsh̤a S s. m. Name of a small weight consisting of eight rattīs, q. v.

نماشام nimāshām H s. (dakh. i. q. سرشام) Evening, early in the evening (?). نماشام اترنا ni- māshām utarnā (met. i. q. سياه روهونا) To have the face black, to be disgraced (?).

گماشته gumāshta P part. pass. (of گماشتن) Com- missioned; s. m. An agent, a factor.
