سلح silaḥ A s. Arms: see سلاح silāh. سلح پوشي silaḥ-posh-ī, s. f. The wearing of armour. A. P. سلحخانه silaḥ-ḵẖāna, s. m. An arsenal, an armoury. A. P. سلحشور salaḥ-shor or silaḥ-shor (from سلاح Armour, and شور Exercise, habitude) adj. A champion, gladiator, horse-breaker.

صلحا ṣulaḥā A s. plur. (of صالح) Pious, upright men.

مصالحه muṣālaḥa A (inf. III. of صلح Heb. &c. ) s. m. Reconciliation, pacification, com- position, compromise. مصالحه کرنا muṣālaḥa karnā, To adjust, compound, compromise.

مصلحت maṣlaḥat A (inf. of صلح) s. f. 1. The what is right, fit or correct, convenience, ex- pedience, an expedient, fitness. 2. Counsel, advice. 3. Affair. مصلحت کرني maṣlaḥat karnī, To consult, to advise, to counsel, to conspire, to combine. مصلحتا maṣlaḥatā or مصلحتاً maṣ- laḥataṉ, adv. Advisedly, expediently.
