انکسار inkisār A (inf. vii. of کسر) s. m. The being broken; contrition, humility.

خاکستر ḵẖākistar P s. f. Ashes, calx. خاکسترکرنا ḵẖākistar karnā, v. a. To calcine. خاکسترهونا ḵẖākistar honā, v. n. To calcine.

خاکستري ḵẖākistar-ī P adj. Of the colour of ashes, covered with ashes, ashy.

منعکس munʼaﻌkis A (part. act. VII. of عکس Heb. ) adj. Inverse, inverted, reversed, topsy- turvy, turned downward.

چکش chakish P (from چکيدن) s. f. The drip- ping or dropping (of water, &c.).

کسان kisān कृषीमान् S̱. s. m. A husbandman, ploughman, peasant, farmer.

کسبت kisbat A. (perhaps, for کسوت kiswat, Dress, garb: or کسبت Gain, way of gaining) s. f. 1. The case (or bag) barbers, surgeons, &c. keep their tools in. 2. A piece of leather worn by a bihishtī or waterman on his left hip, on which he rests the bag containing water. کسبت نامه kisbat-nāma, s. m. A book containing the histories of barbers, surgeons, &c. and directions for their practice. The bihishtīs also have such a book.

کسنئي kisnaʼī S̱. (Sans. कृषि) s. f. Husbandry, agriculture, tillage.

کسواسطي kiswāst̤e S̱.A. For what reason? why? wherefore?

کسوت kiswat A (from کسا Heb. To cover, to clothe) s. f. 1. Dress, appearance, robe, habit. 2. (met.) Figure, form, manner.
