انگشت angusht P s. f. A finger. انگشت حیرت دانتون مین رکهنا angusht-i-ḥairat dāntoṅ meṅ rakhnā, To bite the finger, or place it between the teeth to express surprise. انگشت نر an- gusht-i-nar, The thumb, the great toe. انگشت شہادت angusht-i-shahādat, The forefinger.

انگشتانه angusht-āna P s. m. A ring (particu- larly the one worn on the thumb), a thimble.

انگشتري angusht-arī P s. f. A ring (particularly one worn on the finger, and not on the thumb).

ميگسار mai-gusār P s. m. A wine-drinker.

پنج انگشت panj-angusht P s. m. Cinque-foil.

گسار gusār P part. act. (from گساردن) in compos. Letting go, taking away, drinking or dissipating (wine, grief).

گستاخ gustāḵẖ P adj. Presumptuous, arrogant, insolent, saucy, uncivil, cruel, rude, abrupt. گستاخانه gustāḵẖ-āna, adv. Presumptuously, ar- rogantly: adj. see گستاخ.

گستاخي gustāḵẖ-ī P s. f. Presumption, arro- gance, insolence, sauciness, assurance, rudeness, cruelty. گستاخي کرني gustāḵẖī-karnī, To pre- sume, to be arrogant, &c.
