جهگلا jhagulā H s. m. A frock or shirt.

چنگل changul P s. m. Claw, talon, hand, clutch, grasp, hook.

چهنگلي chhingulī S̱. s. f. The little finger.

Rosewater-sprinkling. گلاب پاشي کرنا gulāb pāshī karnā, To sprinkle with rosewater. گلاب چشم gulāb-chashm, adj. Meek-eyed. گلابنير gulāb-nīr, s. m. Rosewater. P.S̱. گلاب جامن gulāb-jāman, s. f. The rose-apple. (Eugenia jambos: Roxb.).

گلابي gulāb-ī P 1. s. m. Rose-colour. 2. s. f. Bottle, flagon. 3. A kind of sweetmeat. گلابي جاڙا gulābī jāṛā, s. m. The spring season, whilst the sun is in the fish and the ram: see بسنت basant.

گلال gulāl H s. m. A farinaceous powder died red, which the Hindūs throw on each other in the holī. گلال چشم gulāl-chashm, adj. Reddish eye. گلال باڙي gulāl-bāṛī, s. f. A royal pavilion, a tent.

گلالي gulāl-ī H adj. Of the colour of the gulāl or stained with it.

گلاٴي gulāʼī गोलता S̱. s. f. Roundness, rotun- dity.

گلبانگ gulbāng P s. f. 1. Warbling. 2. Fame, rumour. 3. Sound. 4. The war cry, the cry of Allāh Allāh when rushing to battle. 5. Glad tidings.

گلبدن gul-badan P 1. s. m. A kind of silk-cloth. 2. adj. With a body like the rose (epithet of a mistress or of a beautiful person).

گلبن gul-bun P s. m. A rose-tree.
