پنچورا panchorā H s. m. An earthen vessel with a narrow neck and a hole in the bottom. When filled with water and the mouth stopped, no water flows from the hole below till the hand or whatever stopped the mouth be removed. (It is used as an experiment to illustrate the doc- trine of the horror vacui by the followers of Aristotle).

Backstairs. چور کهڙکي chor-khiṛkī, s. f. A back- door, a by-door. چور گلي chor-galī, s. f. A by- road, back-lane. چورلگنا chor lagnā, v. n. To be injured, to damage. چورلگنا شمع کو chor lagnā shamﻌ ko, To waste, a candle, by a thief being attached to it. چور محل chor-maḥall, s. m. The apartments of the concubines of great men. چور مندورا chor-mandūrā, s. m. A game played by children. چور مـﮩيچني chor-mahīchnī, s. f. Hide and seek.

چوري chor-ī S̱. (चोरीय or चौर्य्य) s. f. Theft, robbery, stealth. چوري چوري chorī-chorī, adv. By stealth. clandestinely.

چچورنا chachornā H v. a. To suck (a dry substance from which nothing can be obtained).
