شبچراغ shab-chirāg̠ẖ P or shab-charāg̠ẖ, s. m. A carbuncle, a gem of the ruby kind.

چراغ chirāg̠ẖ P or Pers. charāg̠ẖ, s. m. A lamp,

چراغي chirāg̠ẖ-ī P s. f. 1. A present made to the Mullā for offering up oblations at the tomb of a saint. 2. Alms given to beggars who walk the streets at night as the class called Naḳshbandī. 3. Present to soothsayers.
