بهتنا bhutnā S̱. (from भूत بهوت) s. m. A small devil, an imp, a demon, a ghost.

بهتني bhutnī S̱. (भूत بهوت) s. f. Wife of a devil, a female demon.

بهتيانا bhutiyānā S̱. (from بهوت) v. n. To be like a devil.

بهج भुज bhuj S s. m. f. 1. The arm (above the elbow). 2. The perpendicular or shortest side of a right angled triangle. بهج بنده bhuj-bandh, s. m. An ornament worn on the arm, an armlet. بهج مول bhuj-mūl, The upper part of the arm near the shoulder. بهج بهرنا bhuj bharnā, To embrace.

بهجا भुजा bhujā S s. f. The arm (above the el- bow).

بهجنا bhujnā S̱. (भर्जन r. भृज Parch, fry) s. m. Parched or scorched grain. S. بهجنگ भुजंग (from भुज A curve, and r. गम Go) bhujang, s. m. A serpent.

بهجنگا bhujangā S̱. s. m. A kind of shrike. (Lanius cærulescens. Sans. भृंग). بهجنگي اڙانا bhujange- uṛānā, 1. To be in great distress and poverty. 2. To spread false reports.

بهجيا bhujiyā S̱. s. f. Greens. See بهاجي.

بهرانا bhurānā S̱. v. a. To wheedle. See بودهنا.

بهربهرا bhurbhurā H adj. Dry and in the state of powder.

بهربهرانا bhurbhurānā H v. a. To throw or sprinkle sugar or salt upon meat.

بهس bhus बुस S̱. s. m. Bran, husk, chaff. بهس پربرات bhus par barāt, An assignment on chaff: i. e. that from which nothing can be obtained.
