براورد bar-āwurd P s. f. Calculating, estimating, considering before hand what may be necessary for a feast, &c. براوردکرنا bar-āwurd karnā, 1. To strike out (of a muster roll). 2. To calcu- late, to estimate, to carry to account.

(Given) to the winds; thrown away, misapplied, lost, wasted, destroyed, laid waste, ruined. برباددينا bar-bād denā or بربادکرنا bar-bād karnā, To give to the winds, to throw away, to lose, to waste, misapply, to ruin, des- troy, &c. بربادهونا bar-bād honā, To be thrown away, misapplied, or lost.
