اسفنج isfanj G (spoggos) s. m. A sponge; a yeast dumpling.

اسمنجس असमंजस a-samanjas S s. m. Doubt, suspense, uncertainty.

اسنجوگ असंयोग a-sanjog S or a-sanyog, s. m. Want of opportunity.

انجره anjira P (or injara) s. m. A nettle.

انجلا anjlā अंजलि S̱. s. m. The cavity formed by putting the hands together and holding the palms as if to receive water; as much as can be held in both hands so dis- posed.

انجن anjan S (अंजन) s. m. A collyrium or application to the eye-lashes to darken and improve them; antimony.

انجن سار अंजनसार anjan-sār S s. m. Colly- rium.

انجنا anjnā S̱. (from अंजन see انجن) v. n. To have the eyes tinged with انجن anjan.

انجنهاري anjan-hārī S (अंजन Collyrium, and r. हृ Seize) s. f. A sty (or stithe) on the eye- lids.

انجو anjū S̱. (see آنسو ānsū) s. m. A tear.

بنج banj A s. f. Henbane. See p. بنگ. S̱. or P. بنجارا banjārā (वणिज् or Pers. برنج Rice, and آر Carrying) s. m. A grain-merchant, a carrier of grain. S̱. or P. بنجاري banjārī (see بنجارا) s. f. A kind of tent used by banjārās. 2. adj. f. Half-boiled (grain).
