اپٿک a-paṭak S̱. (अ and r. पट Move) adj. One whose hands and feet are become useless; paralytick.

اٿم aṭam H s. m. A heap.

اٿٿ aṭaṭ H (perhaps, from अ and ٿٿي A skreen or mat) adj. Coarse, strong (cloth).

اٿکنا aṭak-nā H v. n. To be stopped, to be pre- vented, to adhere, to cease, rest, stick, stop.

بهٿ کٿيا bhaṭ kaṭaiyā S̱. s. f. The name of a prickly plant. (Sola- num jacquini, Willd.).

بهٿئي bhaṭaʼī H s. f. Praise, panegyrick, the en- comiums of a بهاٿ bhāṭ, which see.

بهٿکنا bhaṭaknā H v. n. To go astray, to stray, wander, miss the right path, lose (the way).

بٿئي baṭaʼī S̱. (from بٿنا To twist) s. f. The art of making gold thread.

تهٿکنا thaṭaknā H v. n. (dakh.) See ٿهٿهکنا ṭha- ṭhaknā.

جهٿک jhaṭak H (from جهٿکنا) s. f. Twitch, stitch, toss, throw, jerk, shake.

جهٿکنا jhaṭaknā H 1. v. a. To touse, twitch, pull, jerk. 2. v. n. To become lean; to shake. جهٿک لينا jhaṭak lenā, To snatch.

جٿل jaṭal H s. See زٿل zaṭal.

زٿل zaṭal H (corrupt. from جٿل) s. f. Chattering, talking much and foolishly, quibbling, tattle. زٿل مارنا zaṭal mārnā, To chatter, to talk non- sense. زٿل هانکنا zaṭal hānknā, To quibble.
