سعبان shaﻌbān A (from شعب) s. m. The eighth Arabian month. (The 14th day of it is the festival called برات barāt, q. v.: on this day, an angel is supposed to examine a record, on which is written the names of the living).

مشعبد mushaﻌbid A (prop. مشعبذ part. act. of شعبذ) s. m. A juggler.
