اهليا अहल्या ahalyā S n. prop. 1. Wife of Gautama, q. v. 2 Name of an Apsarā.

بـﮩل bahal H s. f. A two-wheeled car (for riding in, not for baggage), a coach, a carriage.

بـﮩلنا bahalnā H v. n. To be diverted, to be amused.

بـﮩليا bahaliyā H s. m. A kind of servant armed with bow, arrow, &c., a huntsman. See بـﮩيليا.

دهلنا dahalnā H v. n. To shake, to tremble, to fear.

نہلوانا nahalwānā S̱. (causal of نہانا q. v.) v. a. To cause to be bathed or washed.

پـﮩل pahal H s. m. 1. A flock of cotton. 2. Beginning, aggression. 3. The side of a rec- tangular figure. ¶ phal (dakh.) Form, figure, &c. see صورت ṣūrat.

ٿـﮩل ṭahal H or ٿـﮩل ٿکور ṭahal ṭakor, s. f. House- wifery, housekeeping, duty, service, task, business, work, job, use, drudgery. ٿـﮩل کرنا ṭahal karnā or ٿـﮩل ٿکور کرنا ṭahal ṭakor karnā, To serve, to drudge. ٿـﮩل لگاني ṭahal lagānī, To dance attendance.

ٿـﮩلنا ṭahalnā H v. n. To walk backwards and for- wards, to take the air, to rove, to ramble.

ٿـﮩلني ṭahalnī H s. f. See ٿـﮩلوي ṭahlūʼī.

چـﮩلنا chahalnā H v. n. To be fatigued, to tire.

چـﮩ‍ل پـﮩ‍ل chahal-pahal H s. f. Jollity, merri- ment, cheer, mirth.

کہل kahal A s. f. Sloth, languor, indolence.

گہل gahal H s. f. See گهود ghaud.
