احضار iḥẓār A (inf. iv. of حضر) s. m. Act of causing to be present; summoning; a summons.

استحضار istiḥẓār A (inf. x. of حضور) s. m. Calling, citing to appear, summoning before.

استرضا istirẓā A (inf. x. of رضا Heb. Was pleased) s. f. Seeking to please; willingness, alacrity.

اضافت iẓāfat A (inf. iv. of ضیف) s. f. Addi- tion, adjunct, reference, annexion; construc- tion of one noun with another.

اضافه iẓāfa A s. m. Addition, junction, annex- ion, annexation, augmentation, attribute.

اعضا aﻌẓā A s. plur. (of عضو) Members, limbs.

افضال afẓāl A s. plur. (of فضل) Graces, virtues, favours. ¶ ifẓāl (inf. iv. of فضل) s. Making to excel or increase, benefitting, grace (divine).

اقتضا iḳtiẓā A (inf. viii. of قضي) s. m. Demand, requisition.

انقضا inḳiẓā A (inf. vii. of قضي) 1. s. m. The being ended; the expiration of any term. 2. adj. Elapsed, ended, fulfilled, accomplished, finished.

اوضاع auẓāﻌ A s. plur. (of وضع) Behaviour, man- ners, breeding, politeness, &c.

بضاعت biẓāʼaﻌt A s. f. Capital stock in trade.

بعضا baﻌẓā A. adj. Some, certain ones, several.

بيضا baiẓā A 1. adj. White. 2. s. m. The Sun. يدبيضادکهانا yad-i-baiẓā dikhānā, v. a. To dis- tinguish oneʼs self in any work (an allusion taken from the luminous hand of Moses). A.P. بيضانه baiẓ-āna, s. m. The perquisite of the magistrate, &c. for marking publick papers.

بيضاوي baiẓāwī A s. f. The name of a book containing a commentary on the ḳurʼān.

تضاد taẓādd A (inf. vi. of ضدّ) s. m. Contradic- tion, contrariety, absurdity, inconsistency.
