اشٿانگ अष्टांग अष्ट Eight, and अंग Mem- ber ash̤ṭāng S. Eight parts of man, viz. the hands, feet, thighs, breast, eyes, head, words and mind. اشٿانگ پرنام ash̤ṭāng-praṇām, s. m. Prostration, in salutation or adoration, so as to touch the ground with those eight parts.

اوٿ پٿانگ ūṭ-paṭāng H s. m. Absurdity, non- sense, what is without meaning or foundation. adj. Poor, helpless, destitute, in disorder.

اوٿ پٿانگي ūṭ-paṭāng-ī H adj. (used substantively) One who speaks inconsiderately or without preparation.

اٿپٿانگي aṭpaṭāngī H adj. Inconsiderate, irregu- lar, unstudied, thoughtless.

ٿانگ ṭāng H s. f. The leg. ٿانگ اٿهانا ṭāng uṭhānā, To copulate. ٿنگ دينا ṭāng denā, 1.

ٿانگن ṭāngan H s. m. See ٿانگهن ṭānghan.

ٿانگنا ṭāngnā H (trans. of ٿنگنا) v. a. To hang up, to dangle, to hang by a string, &c. (not on a peg).

ٿانگهن ṭānghan H s. m. A kind of horse, a high- land pony. ٿانگهن نما ṭānghan-numā, adj. Like a ṭānghan.

ٿانگي ṭāngī टंक S̱. s. f. A hatchet.

ٿانگڙي ṭāngṛī H s. f. (dakh.) Leg, foot.

ٿونگا ٿانگي ṭūngā-ṭāngī H s. f. Pecking and nib- bling.
