تصرف taṣarruf A (inf. v. of صرف) s. m. 1. Posses- sion, use, sway. 2. Expenditure, disposal, em- bezzlement, extravagance. تصرف کرنا or تصرف مين لانا taṣarruf karnā, or taṣarruf meṅ lānā, To take or get possession of, to apply to oneʼs own purpose, embezzle, occupy. Plur. تصرفات taṣarrufāt (in general acceptation for) The sum total of expenses.

تصرفي taṣarruf-ī A. s. f. Common provisions given to dependants, &c. (خاصه ḵẖāṣṣa, being what the master and his company eat).

صراف ṣarrāf A (adj. superl. from صرف) s. m. A banker, a moneychanger.

صرافي ṣarrāf-ī A. s. f. Banking, money-changing.

صراقه ṣarrāf-a A. s. m. The place where bankers transact their business, a bank.

متصرف mutaṣarrif A (part. act. V. of صرف Heb. ) adj. 1. Profuse, extravagant. 2. Posses- sing, having the sway of, occupying, embezzling. 3. (In grammar) Declinable, declined.
