خاطر ḵẖāt̤ir A (from خطر) s. f. (dakh. s. m.) The heart, soul, mind, inclination, memory, propensity, account, sake, behalf, will, choice. خاطر آزرده ḵẖāt̤ir-āzurda, adj. Melancholy, dejected, sad. خاطر آشفته ḵẖāt̤ir-āshufta, adj. Distressed, dispirited, agitated. خاطر بسته ḵẖātir-basta, Dis- tressed in mind, oppressed in spirit. خاطر پريشان ḵẖāṭir-pareshān, adj. Troubled in mind. خاطر جمع ḵẖāt̤ir-jamﻌ, 1. adj. Collected, comforted, contented, confident, tranquil, at ease. 2. s. f. Satisfaction, content, collectedness or peace of mind, confidence, assurance, encouragement. خاطر جمعي ḵẖāt̤ir-jam-īﻌ, s. f. Comfort, confi- dence, ease of mind. خاطر خواه ḵẖāt̤ir-ḵẖẉāh, Agreeable to oneʼs wishes, satisfactory. خاطر دار ḵẖāt̤ir-dār, adj. Encouraging; comforter, encourager. خاطر داري ḵẖāt̤ir-dār-ī, s. f. En- couragement, comfort, gratification, satisfaction. خاطر داري کرني ḵẖāt̤ir-dār-ī-karnī, To comfort, to encourage. خاطر داشت ḵẖāt̤ir-dāsht, s. f. Com- plaisance, regard. خاطر رکهنا ḵẖāt̤ir-rakhnā, To conciliate, to encourage, to comfort, to quiet. خاطر کرنا ḵẖāt̤ir-karnā, 1. To fondle. 2. To be desirous of pleasing, to study the interest (of any one). 3. To encourage, to comfort. خاطر مين رکهنا ḵẖāt̤ir meṅ rakhnā, To remember. خاطر مين گذرنا ḵẖāt̤ir meṅ guẕarnā, To come into the mind or head (an idea). خاطر مين لانا ḵẖāt̤ir meṅ lānā, To regard, to mind, to care for, to attend to. خاطر نشان ḵẖāt̤ir nishān, Impression on the mind; imprinted on the memory, by heart. خاطر نشين ḵẖāt̤ir-nishīn, adj. 1. Fixed in the memory, by heart. 2. Chosen, beloved.
