اتقیا atḳiyā A s. plur. (of تقي) Religious men, de- votees.

اقاقیا aḳāḳiyā A s. Acacia, the expressed juice of the fruit of the acacia tree, or of the قلقل ḳilḳil.

انقیاد inḳiyād A (inf. vii. of قود) s. m. Obe- dience, submission, compliance, fidelity.

باقر bāḳir A part. act. (of بقر) Deeply learned, abounding in wealth and science.

باقرخاني bāḳir-ḵẖānī P s. f. A kind of bread or cake mixed with butter and milk. (Probably devised by some nobleman, named باقرخان).

باقيات bāḳiyāt A s. plur. (of باقي) Remainders, balances, arrears.

تنقيه tanḳiya A (inf. ii. of نقي) s. m. 1. Purging, cleaning (the bowels). 2. Winnowing grain.
