ڐيڙه ḍeṛh H adj. One and half. ڐيڙه پاو ḍeṛh pāʼo, Three eighths. ڐيڙه پوا ḍeṛh pauwā, A weight, three eighths of a ser. ڐيڙه اينٿ کي مسجد جدي بناني ḍeṛh īnṭ kī masjid judī banānī (lit. to make a separate temple of a brick and a half) To withdraw, through pride, from the so- ciety of others. ڐيڙه بکاين ميان باغ مين ḍeṛh bakāyan miyāṅ bāg̠ẖ meṅ, lit. The gentleman is in his garden consisting of a tree and a half (and the bakāyan, Melia sempervirens, here mentioned, is a tree of no use or estimation) is applied to a person who assumes consequence without reason.
