آسن āsin आश्विन S̱. s. m. The sixth Hindū month, in which the moon is full near the stars in the head of Aries. September--October. S. آسن (असन or) आसन āsan, s. m. The name of a tree on which the tasar silk-worm feeds. (Terminalia alata tomentosa). S. اسن अशन (r. अश Eat) asan, s. m. Eating, food: also, the tree last described.

اسوني अश्विनी aswinī S s. f. The first of the twenty-four constellations in the moonʼs path; hence, considered its mansions. (It consists of three stars in the head of Aries, and is so named
