گانتهنا gānthnā ग्रंथन S̱. v. a. To lay bricks in mortar, to string, to put or tie in order on a string, &c.

گانٿهنا gānṭh-nā ग्रंथन S̱. v. a. 1. To tie, to knot, join, make adhere, stitch, cobble, put toge- ther. 2. To reduce to obedience or subjection, to attach.

گانٿهہ gānṭh ग्रंथि S̱. s. f. 1. A knot; joint, an articulation. 2. A bundle. گانٿهہ پڙنا gānṭh paṛnā, is applied to the fixing of enmity towards any one in the breast. گانٿهہ دار gānṭh-dār, adj. Knotted. گانٿهہ کا پورا gānṭh kā pūrā, Rich, wealthy. گانٿهہ کا کهونا gānṭh kā khonā, To act to oneʼs own prejudice. گانٿهہ کهولنا gānṭh kholnā, 1. The untying of a knot. 2. Prodigality, ex- pense, to open the purse. 3. Removal of pre- judice. گانٿهہ گٿهيلا gānṭh-gaṭhīlā, Knotty (as, a stick), compact (as, a man).

گرنتهہ کار ग्रंथकार granth-kār S s. m. An author, book-maker, writer, compiler.

گرنتهہ ग्रंथ granth S s. f. 1. A code, a book, par- ticularly the book of the Siḵẖ religion composed by Nānak Shāh. ग्रंथि granthi, A knot.

گنٿهجوڙا ganṭh-joṛā ग्रंथिजोड S̱. Knot-joining. گنٿهجوڙا باندهنا ganṭh-joṛā bāndhnā, To tie together the skirts of the mantles of the bride and bridegroom: a ceremony attending mar- riage performed by the purohit or officiating priest.

گٿهي gaṭhī ग्रंथि S̱. s. f. A ball, pack.

گٿهيا gaṭhiyā ग्रंथीय S. s. f. 1. A bump. 2. Pains in the joints. 3. A bag, sack. 4. Bundle, package.
