اگهڙنا ughaṛnā S̱. (उत् and r. घट Unite) v. n. To be uncovered, discovered, opened, pulled off.

سگهڙٴي sughṛa-ī S̱. (from سگهڙ sughaṛ) s. f. Elegancy, accomplishment.

گهڙنا ghaṛnā H 1. v. a. To make, to form, to forge, to work (metals): see h. گڙهنا gaṛhnā. 2. v. n. (dakh.) i. q. آفت پڙنا āfat paṛnā (Calamity or misfortune) to happen or fall.

گهڙولا ghaṛolā S̱. (from घट) s. m. A pot, a pitcher.

گهڙونچا ghaṛonchā S̱. s. m. A stand for water- pots, &c.

گهڙونچي ghaṛonchī S̱. s. f. A stand for water- pots, &c.

گهڙي ghaṛī S̱. P. (Pers. گري) s. f. 1. (Sans. घटिका) An hour, or the space of 24 minutes. 2. (घटी) An instrument for measuring time, a clock, watch, &c. گهڙي مين تولاگهڙي مين ماشا ghaṛī meṅ tolā ghaṛī meṅ māshā, Expresses a person of a changeable disposition.

گهڙي ghaṛī H s. f. Fold, plait.

گهڙيا ghaṛiyā H s. f. 1. A crucible. 2. A honey- comb. 3. The womb.

گهڙيال ghaṛiyāl S̱. s. m. 1. (Sans. घटिक or घटी Pers. گريال) A plate of brass for beating time. 2. (घंटिका) A crocodile. S̱. گهڙيالي ghaṛiyāl-ī, s. m. The person who attends the ghaṛī and strikes the hours.
