ابولا a-bolā H adj. m. Disposed or accustomed to silence.

اتاولا utāʼolā H adj. m. Swift, quick, speedy, pre- cipitate, rash.

ادکهولا ad-kholā S̱. adj. Half-open.

امولب a-mol S̱. (अ and मूल्य Price) adj. Inva- luable.

انولا aṅolā आमलक S̱. s. m. Name of a fruit, a kind of myrobalans. (Phyllanthus emblica).

انولاسار aṅolāsār S̱. (Sans. अम्लसार) s. m. A sort of brimstone so called. (Hunter).

اولا aulā A adj. Better, best: see اوليٰٰ aulạ̄. ¶ awwalaṉ, adv. At first, in the first place.

اولا olā S̱. (ओल adj. Wet) s. m. 1. Hail. 2. The name of a kind of sweetmeat. اولاهوجانا olā hojānā, To become cold. جون سرمنڐاياتون اولي پڙي joṅ sir munḍāyā toṅ ole paṛe, I had no sooner shaved my head than a shower of hail came on. (Spoken of one who has just en- gaged in an enterprise which turns out unfortu- nate).

اولاد aulād A s. f. (plur. of ولد) Children, offspring, descendants, issue, progeny.

اولتي oltī H s. f. The eaves of a roof.

باولا bāʼolā S̱. or bāwalā (वातूल) adj. Mad, in- sane, crazy.

باوگولا bāʼo-golā S̱. (वातगुल्म i. e. वात Wind, and गुल्म The spleen) s. m. The colick, fla- tulency.

بربولا bur-bolā H (from برا Bad, and بولنا To speak) adj. Scurrilous.

بسولا basūlā H s. m. A kind of axe used by car- penters, an adz.
