توضو tawaẓẓū A (inf. v. of وضأ or وضوٴ) s. f. 1. Performing the ablution before prayer. 2. Arriving at the age of puberty when ablution must be performed.

توضيح tauẓīḥ A (inf. ii. of وضوح) s. f. Manifesta- tion; statement, account of collections.

روضه rauẓa A (from راض) s. m. 1. A garden. 2. A mausoleum. روضه خوان rauẓa-ḵẖẉān, s. m. One who recites the praises of Ḥusain in the month muḥarram, an eulogist at the tomb of a saint or beloved person.

معاوضه muʼāﻌwaẓa A s. m. (inf. III. of عوض) Retaliating, returning like for like, substitution, exchange.

موضوع mauẓūﻌ A (part. pass. of وضع) s. m. A subject, object. adj. Established, placed, si- tuated.

وضو waẓū A prop. wuẓū (from وضأ or وضؤ) s. m. Ablution (performed before prayer; and, it consists in cleaning the teeth, washing first the hands, then the mouth inside, then throwing water on the forehead, washing the whole face, the arms, and lastly the feet).

وضوح wuẓūḥ A (from وضح) s. m. Evidence, proof.

وضيع waẓīﻌ A (from وضع) 1. adj. Ignoble, base, plebeian, low. 2. s. A deposit, a trust, any thing committed to the care of another. شريف و وضيع sharīf-o-waẓīﻌ, Nobles and plebeians.
