نرگس nargis P s. f. (dakh. s. m.) 1. A narcissus. 2. (met.) The eye of a mistress. نرگس شـﮩـلا nargis-i-shahlā, A narcissus. نرگس مخمور nar- gis-i-maḵẖmūr, An epithet applied to a mistressʼs eyes (intoxicated Narcissus).

نرگستان nargistān P (perhaps for نرگسدان A re- ceptacle for narcissuses) s. m. A bed of Nar- cissuses.

نرگسي nargis-ī P 1. adj. Like or of the Nar- cissus. 2. s. m. A kind of garment, a sort of food.

نرگن nir-guṇ S (निर् prep. and गुण Quality, skill, a string) adj. 1. Without passions or human qualities (an epithet of God). 2. With- out estimable qualities, worthless, unskilful. 3. Unstrung (as, a necklace).

نرگهن nir-ghin S̱. (निर् prep. and घृणा Re- proach, abhorrence) adj. 1. Not odious, not detestable. 2. Abominable.
