تمثال tims̤āl A (inf. ii. of مثل) s. f. Resemblance, picture.

تمثل tamas̤s̤ul A (inf. v. of مثل) s. m. 1. Imita- ting, resembling. 2. Applying allegories.

تمثيل tams̤īl A (inf. ii. of مثل) s. f. 1. Comparison, similitude. 2. Allegory, parable, apologue, an example, a counterpart or duplicate, a fac simile. (Plur. تمثيلات tams̤īlāt). تمثيل لانا tams̤īl lānā, To allegorize.

تمثيلا tams̤īl-aṉ A adv. By way of similitude, alle- gorically.

مثابه mas̤āba A (n. of place of ثوب) s. The place to which a person returns again and again, place of assembling, station.
