بالکا bālkā S̱. (Sans. बालक) s. m. A young fol- lower of a Jogī or Sannyāsī. S. H. بالکپن bālak-pan, s. m. Childhood. S. H. بالکپنا bālak-panā, s. m. Childhood.

جهلکا jhalkā S̱. s. m. A blister.

جهلکار jhal-kār S̱. s. m. Burning, brightness, splendour.

جهلکانا jhalkānā S̱. (causal of جهلکنا) v. a. To cause to shine, brighten, burnish.

جهلکانا jhulkānā S̱. (s. ज्वलका Flame) v. a. To scorch, to singe (as, the small feathers of a pluck- ed fowl).

دولکا गोलिका golikā S s. f. A bastard son or daughter by illegiti- mate connexion with a widow.

للکار lalkār H s. f. Call, bawl, challenge.

للکارنا lalkārnā H v. a. To call, to bawl after, to halloo after, to challenge, to set up the war whoop. v. n. To bawl out insultingly.

للکانا lalkānā H v. n. To excite quarrel, to set on to fight.

لکانا lukānā S̱. (causal of لکنا) v. a. To hide, to conceal.

لکانجن lukānjan S̱. s. m. An ointment, by applying which to a manʼs eyes he becomes invisible.

لکد lakad P s. f. A kick.

لکشمي लक्ष्मी laksh̤mī S s. f. See لچهمي lachh̤mī.

لکشن लक्षण laksh̤aṇ S s. m. See لچهن lachh̤aṇ. H. S̱. لک کرنا lak karnā, v. (dakh. i. q. صاف کرنا) To make clear (?). H. S̱. لک لک کرنا lak-lak karnā, v. (dakh.) To glitter: see چمکنا chamaknā.
