تفريح tafrīḥ A (inf. ii. of فرح) s. f. Rejoicing, ex- hilarating, amusement, gratification. تفريح طبع tafrīḥ-i-t̤abﻌ, Ease of mind, cheerfulness, hilarity.

تفريد tafrīd A (inf. ii. of فرد) s. f. Separation from others, retirement from the world (espe- cially, for the sake of devotion), the being unique in science, &c.

جعفري jaﻌfar-ī A s. f. 1. A kind of cupola. 2. A sort of screen (the interstices of the frame being lozenged). Lattice-work (corrupt. of ضفيره). 3. The purest kind of gold. 4. The name of a yellow flower (called also گل اشرفي Linum trigynum).
