سجاد sajjād A adj. (superl. of سجد Heb. ) Adoring, bowing the body in adoration.

سجده sijda A s. m. Bowing so as to touch the ground with the forehead in adoration, espe- cially to God, adoration. سجده گاه sijda-gāh, s. f. The place of performing the sijda.

سجسي su-jas-ī S̱. (सुयशस्वी from सु Good, and यशस् Fame) adj. Renowned.

سجع sajﻌ A s. m. Rhyme, metre, cadence, poesy. A. سجل s. m. 1. sijill, A register, the decree of a judge, written attestation of a notary, seal of a judge (sigillum). 2. sijil, The recording angel. 3. adj. Right, proper, good, well arranged.

مسجد masjid A (noun of place from سجد Heb. and Aram. ) s. f. A mosque. مسجد جامع masjid-i-jāmīﻌ, A great mosque, a cathedral.

مسجدي masjid-ī A. adj. Of the mosque (person or thing).
