ارچنا archanā S̱. 1. (अर्चन) v. a. To worship, adore, honour, treat with ceremony. 2. अर्चना s. f. Worship, the homage paid to deities, &c.

To strike obliquely, to glance. ترچهي آنکهـ کرنا tirchhī ānkh karnā, To look angrily, to cast unkind looks. ترچهي نظر tirchhī naz̤ar, Leer, ogle, side glance, squint.

ترچهانا tirchhā-nā S̱. (from तिर्य्यच्) v. a. 1. To crook, slant, place in a transverse position. 2. v. n. To be perverse. 3. To be affected.

ترچهيانا tirchhiyānā S̱. (from ترچها) v. n. To edge, to go obliquely (little used, the proper expres- sion being کترانا katrānā).
