آب خانه āb-ḵẖāna P s. A repository of water.

اب دار خانه āb-dār-ḵẖāna P s. The place where the āb-dār keeps the water for drinking.

ادخال idḵẖāl A (inf. iv. of دخل) s. Insertion, introduction.

ارخاي عنان irḵẖā-i-iﻌnān A s. m. Letting loose the reins; unruliness.

الخالق alḵẖālaḳ P s. f. A coat, vest, garment.

بادخايه bād-ḵẖāya P s. m. The rupture, hernia.

بارخانه bār-ḵẖāna P s. m. A warehouse. S. بارد वारिद (वारि Water, and द from r. दा Give) bārid, s. m. A cloud.

باقرخاني bāḳir-ḵẖānī P s. f. A kind of bread or cake mixed with butter and milk. (Probably devised by some nobleman, named باقرخان).

بالاخانه bālā-ḵẖāna P s. m. An upper room, an upper story, a balcony.

تخالف taḵẖāluf A (inf. vi. of خلف) s. m. 1. Op- position, contention. 2. Enmity.

تپخاله tap-ḵẖāla P s. m. Breaking out on the lips after a fever, the thrush.

جنگيزخان jangez ḵẖān P n. prop. The famous Mug̠ẖal conqueror, born A. D. 1154.

خال ḵẖāl A s. m. 1. A mole on the face (black and ornamental). 2. An artificial spot made for ornament. 3. A maternal uncle, motherʼs brother. خال خال ḵẖāl-ḵẖāl, adj. 1. Thick, close, thickly spread. 2. Little, scarce. 3. adv. Rarely, here and there.

خالا ḵẖālā A. (properly, خاله) s. f. Maternal aunt, motherʼs sister. خالا کا يا خالا ماما کا گهريا خانهٴخالا ḵẖālā kā- or ḵẖālā māmā kā-ghar, or ḵẖāna-i-ḵẖālā (lit. The house of oneʼs aunt) signifies a place of rest and security. A. H. خالاتي ḵẖālā-tī, adj. Descended from or re- lated to a maternal aunt; as, خالاتي بهاٴي ḵẖālā- tī bhāʼī, A cousin, son of a maternal aunt.
