تربهنگا tirbhangā S̱. (त्रिभंग from त्रि Three, and भंग Break) adj. Standing awry, or bending (properly, with legs, loins and neck bent).

تربهنگي tirbhang-ī S̱. 1. (from त्रिभंग) adj. Having the position described under تربهنگا tribhangā, an epithet of Kr̤ish̤ṇa. 2. (त्रिभंगी) Name of a species of poetical measure.

تربهون त्रिभुवन tribhuwan S s. m. The three worlds, viz. heaven, earth, and the infernal re- gions; the universe. تربهون اجاگر tribhuwan- ujāgar, adj. Splendour of the three worlds.

تربوز tarbūz P s. m. A watermelon. (Cucurbita citrullus).

تربيت tarbiyat A (inf. ii. of ربي Heb. He increased) s. f. Education, instruction, tuition, bringing up, breeding, correction. تربيت پذير tarbiyat-paẕīr, Docile, tractable. تربيت کرنا tarbiyat karnā, To educate, to instruct.

تربيع tarbīﻌ A (inf. ii. of ربع) s. f. 1. Dividing into four, making a quadrangular or square figure. 2. (in astronomy) A quadrangular as- pect of the stars, a quartile, quadrature.

تربيني tri-benī S (त्रिवेणी Three braids of hair) s. f. The conflux of three sacred rivers; espe- cially, that of the Ganges, Jamunā, and sup- posed Saraswatī under ground at Ilāhābād, which city is also so named.

چتربهج चतुर्भुज chatur-bhuj S adj. Having four arms, an epithet of Vish̤ṇu.

چتربهجي चतुर्भुजी chatur-bhuj-ī S adj. f. Having four arms, an epithet of Devī.

چتربهوجن चित्रभोजन चित्र Strange, and भोजन Food chitr-bhojan S. s. m. Change of diet, eating of unusual food.

کتربيونت katar-byont S̱. s. m. 1. Cutting out. 2. (met.) Meditation, consultation, anxiety.
